LIVE AFRO- JAZZ
Thierry Nkeli Faha is one of the brightest and dynamic musicians to emerge from French speaking Africa. Thierry performs in French and other West African languages; songs that blend African rhythms and Jazz with French sounds and African melodies. His lyrics speak of peace, hope, love and faith and his soulful singing and folk-jazz and rock-inspired guitar invite the audience to swing, sway and smile.
In addition to his regular appearances at Makumba, Thierry has performed at the Alliance Francaise and just recently launched his second album “Avanyo” in Hong Kong as part of the “Fete de la Musique”. He also played at Rockit Festival in 2005 and has performed extensively in Africa, North America, France and Asia.
